Melvin Cole Melvin Ira Cole, 71, of Crump, died Friday, March 23. He was born in Lafayette, Ind., the son of the late Elmer R. and Lula Mae Green Cole. He was united in marriage to Terri Gray, who survives. Mr. Cole had worked as a truck driver and a security guard before retiring. No services were held. In addition to his wife, Terri Cole of Crump, he is survived by a son, Donald Keith Cole of Lafayette, Ind.; a daughter, Holly Cole of Lafayette, Ind.; a stepdaughter, Sherry Liford of Savannah; two grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Pete Cole.
