Louis McCoy Jr. Louis Everette McCoy Jr., 76, of Saltillo, died Sunday, March 11, in Savannah. He was born in Enville, the son of the late Louis Everett McCoy Sr. and Birdie Barnhart McCoy. He was united in marriage to Betty Jean Blakenship, who preceded him in death. Mr. McCoy was a truck driver for Preston 151. He was a member of the Teamster and also was owner and operator of McCoy Auto Sales. Services were held on Saturday, March 17, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Roy Wyatt officiating. Burial followed in the Lebanon Cemetery at Saltillo. He is survived by one son, Louis Everett McCoy III of Granite City, Ill.; two daughters, Debra Jean Smith of Granite City, Ill. and Tammy Genean Tucker of Saltillo; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by one brother, James McCoy.
