Paul "Billy" Hardin (3-9-12) service 3-12-12

Paul "Billy" Hardin, 68, of Savannah, died Friday, March 9.

He was born in Hardin County, the son of the late Tom Hassell and Hattie Mae Ferrell Hardin. He was united in marriage to Betty Lee Franks, who survives.

Mr. Hardin had worked for Angelica for eight years as a cutter and for River Heights Lumber Company as truck driver for 15 years.

Services were held on Monday, March 12, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Scott Melson officiating. Burial followed in the Hollands Creek Cemetery at Hardin County.

In addition to his wife, Betty Lee Hardin, he is survived by a daughter, Pamela Franks of Savannah; a son, Tim Hardin of Savannah; two grandchildren; two brothers, Hassell Hardin of Savannah and Adley Hardin of Clifton; two sisters, Katherine Ray and Blanche Warren both of Memphis.
