Melton Benson (3-10-12) service 3-13-12

Melton Wrean Benson was born in Hardin County, on Feb. 10, 1937, the son of the late Henry Richard and Annie Alma Benson.

Mr. Benson lived all his life in the Walnut Grove community and was a member of the Walnut Grove Church of Christ. He enjoyed hunting.

He departed this life on Saturday, March 10, at the age of 75 years, 1 month.

He is survived by a sister, Lou Thelma Benson Miller of South Bend, Ind.; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Elton D. Benson, Turner Benson and Mondel Benson.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, March 13, at the Walnut Grove Cemetery in Hardin County with David Highland officiating.
