Jerry Warren (2-25-12) service 2-28-12

Jerry Warren, 70, of Savannah, died Saturday, Feb. 25, in Jackson, Tenn.

He was born in Lutts, the son of the late Ergin J. and Floyce Johnson Warren.

Mr. Warren was united in marriage to Phyllis Ann Benson, who survives.

He was a retired self-employed auto mechanic.

Services were held on Tuesday, Feb. 28, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Jimmy McGee officiating. Burial followed in the Memory Gardens at Savannah.

In addition to his wife, Phyllis of Savannah, he is survived by two sons, Doug Warren of Waterloo, Ala. and Arthur Hickerson; three daughters, Belinda Young of Saltillo, Vickie Warren of Kennesaw, Ga. and Becky Barrier of Waterloo, Ala.; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Charles of Florida, Bobby of Lutts and Danny Warren of Michigan; three sisters, Linda Scott of Lutts, Bonnie Ragen of Cypress Inn, Tenn. and Carlene Bianaco of Florence, Ala.

He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Dottie Warren.
