Annie Layton Annie Ruth Layton, 70, of Counce, died Wednesday, Feb. 22, at Southern Magnolia Estates in Iuka, Miss. She was the daughter of the late James Doss and Myrtle Carroll Byrd. She was united in marriage to to Charles William Layton, who preceded her in death. A graveside service was held on Saturday, Feb. 25, at the White Sulphur Cemetery in Pickwick Dam with Rev. Merl Dixon officiating. She is survived by four children, 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by five brothers; and one sister.
