Eugene Lewis Eugene Elworth Lewis, 84, of Counce, died Wednesday, Feb. 15. He was born in Asheboro, N.C., the son of the late Arthur and Alma Spivey Lewis. He was united in marriage to Elizabeth Elaine Prestridge, who survives. Mr. Lewis had been employed with General Motors, Euclid Division as a service representative for 32 years and a had served in the United States Navy. No services were held. In addition to his wife, Elaine Lewis of Counce, he is survived by step-son, Sammy Arnold Jr. of Fort Myers, Fla.; step-daughter, Tammy Garrison of Gore, Va.; four step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Doyle and Wilburn Lewis.
