Thomas Robert “Bobby” Irvin, 86, of Savannah, died Saturday, Feb. 4, at his home.
He was born in Hardin County, the son of the late Ed and Mildred McFalls Irvin.
Mr. Irvin was a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service. He also taught school at Gillis Mills and worked for Dillon Manufacturing Company. He was a United States Army Veteran, he served with the 71st Depot Repair Squadron. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
He is survived by many cousins and loved ones.
Services were held on Tuesday, Feb. 7, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Jason Estes officiating. Burial followed in the Memory Gardens at Savannah.
