Bobby Ray Holt Sr. (1-11-12) service 1-16-12

Bobby Ray Holt Sr., 67, of Savannah, died Wednesday, Jan. 11.

He was born in Tyronza, Ark., the son of the late Oliver Holt and Gladys Marie Hollins Holt.

Mr. Holt had been a heavy equipment operator and a member of the Union of Operating Engineers.

Services were held on Monday, Jan. 16, at Savannah Cemetery in Savannah with Danny Hicks officiating. Burial followed in the Savannah Cemetery at Savannah.

He is survived by a son, Bobby Ray Holt Jr. of Savannah; a grandson; four sisters, Betty Moore of Counce, Helen Hutton of Savannah, Shirley Murrell of Selmer and Gail Drummond of Adamsville; former spouse, Viola Holt of Savannah.

He was preceded in death by a stepson, Stacey Deshazier; two brothers, Charles Eugene and Melvin Dale Holt.
