Pamela Shea Fondren

Pamela Shea Fondren was born in Potter County, Texas, on July 21, 1954, the daughter of the late Elmer Leland and Virginia Hooks Kent Shea.

Ms. Fondren was a bank teller for Community South in Savannah. She was a member of Savannah Church of Christ. Ms. Fondren loved doing her Romania mission work with the church. She also enjoyed helping with Coats For Kids and Relay For Life.

She departed this life on Monday, Jan. 2, in Savannah, at the age of 57 years, 5 months and 12 days.

Ms. Fondren is survived by one son, Bart Fondren of Shelbyville, Tenn.; one brother, Larry Shea of Memphis; one nephew, Kent Shea.

Pam also leaves her special friends, Alan and Diane Fariss and Danny and Teresa Gordon and her nannie she loved so dearly, Etta Wray. Pam also leaves a multitude of friends who will miss her dearly.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one daughter, Kelly Jean Fondren.

Services were held on Saturday, Jan. 7, at 11 a.m., at Savannah Church of Christ in Savannah with Jim Chamblee officiating. Burial followed in the Memory Gardens at Savannah.
