Mary Ann Stevens

Mary Ann "Dood" Stevens, 74, of Savannah, died Sunday, Jan. 8, in Savannah.

She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Leslie Odell and Vienna Hollins Edwards.

Ms. Stevens was a homemaker. She was a member of Peoples Tabernacle in Savannah.

She is survived by two daughters, Martha McAfee of Shiloh and Teresa Hornbuckle of Adamsville; one son, Tony Little of Moscow, Tenn.; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Randal Edwards of Jacks Creek, Tenn.; four sisters, Shirley Austin, Ruby Cornelius, Sally Ledgewood and Mertle Buckridge, all of Shiloh.

She was also preceded in death by three sons, Dewey Stevens, Tracey Stevens and Jimmy Earl Culwell; two sisters, Mattie Eason and Marie Edwards; and four brothers, Willie, Dewey, Gene and James Edwards.

Services were held on Wednesday, Jan. 10, at South Shiloh Full Gospel Church in Hardin County with Steven Wilbanks, James Newcomb officiating. Burial followed in the Cromwell South Shiloh Cemetery at Hardin County.
