JoAnn Jones (12-9-11) service 12-11-11

JoAnn Miller Jones, 60, of Adamsville, died Friday, Dec. 9, at her home.

She was born in McNairy County, the daughter of the late James Levi Miller and Sarah Foster Miller. She was united in marriage to Gary Jones, who survives.

Mrs. Jones worked in the electronic department at Wal-Mart in Selmer. In previous years, she had worked at Garan Manufacturing in Adamsville and U.S. Apparel. She was of the Baptist faith.

Services were held on Sunday, Dec. 11, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Adamsville with Steven Moore officiating. Burial followed in the Mars Hill Cemetery at Adamsville.

In addition to her husband Gary Jones of Adamsville, she is survived by a daughter, Tara Sweat; two brothers, Richard Lee and Jamie Miller; and a grandson.
