Lois L. Green, 71, of Savannah, died Monday, Dec. 5, at Magnolia Regional Hospital in Corinth, Miss.
She was born in Burnsville, Miss., the daughter of the late Bill and Willie Mae Durbin Tuberville. She was united in marriage to Joe Green, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Green was a riverboat cook for Ingram Towing Company. She also escorted house trailers and worked for Aqua Glass.
Services were held on Thursday, Dec. 8, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Danny Keymon officiating. Burial followed in the Shiloh Methodist Church Cemetery at Shiloh.
She is survived by two daughters, Glenda Barber of Corinth, Miss. and Regina DeShazier of Savannah; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Robert Earl Tuberville; and two sisters, Billie Jean Honeycut and Shirley Tuberville.
