Alma Scott Alma Scott, 84, of Morris Chapel, died Tuesday, Nov. 15. She was born in Decatur County, Tenn., the daughter of the late William Alfred and Arie Sheppard Shannon. She was united in marriage to Carl Scott, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Scott was a member of the Hookers Bend Community. Services were held on Friday, Nov. 18, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Steve Nelson officiating. Burial followed in the Milledgeville Cemetery. She is survived by a son, Randy Scott of Morris Chapel; two grandchildren, three great grandchildren; a sister, Peggy Kennedy of Savannah; and a brother, Tommy Shannon of Houston, Texas.
