Pius Robinson

Pius Neal Robinson, 57, of Parsons, died Monday, Oct. 31, after a long bout with sickness.

He was born in Selmer, son of the late Sam and Grace Stricklin Robinson.

He was a faithful member of the Apostolic faith for many years. He was employed by General Electric after high school.

Services were held Saturday, Nov. 5, at Shackelford Chapel in Selmer with Jerry Prather, Thomas Davis and Kelvin Sanders officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.

In addition to his wife, Gayle Robinson of Parsons, he is survived by a daughter, Sasha Robinson of Evansville, Ind.; a grandchild; three sisters, Minnie Cherry of Savannah, Louise Robinson of Selmer and Melinda Sanders of Selmer; three brothers, Larry of Savannah, James of Chicago, Ill., and Wendell Robinson of Evansville, Ind.; as well as a host of nieces, nephews.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Arnold T. Stricklin; and two sisters, Mable Roberts and Lillie Robinson.
