Clifford Jackson, 76, of Counce, died Friday, Nov. 4.
He was born in East Prairie, Mo., the son of the late Clifford and Pauline Tanner Jackson. He was united in marriage to Glenda Marie Hammock, who survives.
Mr. Jackson, had worked for Luhr Bros. Construction as a heavy equipment operator before retiring.
Services were held on Sunday, Nov. 6, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Gerald White officiating. Burial followed in the Paps Way Cemetery at Counce.
In addition to his wife, Glenda “Granny” Jackson of Counce, he is survived by a daughter, Lisa Fernandez of Miami, Fla.; two sons, James and Billy Jackson, both of Counce; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Benjamin of Cape Girardeau, Mo. and Chester Jackson of Texas; two sisters, Brenda Jackson of Counce and Barbara Atkins of Fort Smith, Okla.
He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Albert, George and Ira Jackson.
