Ruth Ann Gant Ruth Ann Gant, 59, of Savannah, died Wednesday, Oct. 5. She was born in Akron, Ohio, the daughter of Francis Lewis Holland and the late William H. Cupples. Ruth Ann had been a member of Love and Truth Church in Savannah. Services were held on Saturday, Oct. 8, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Bill Luther, Philip Meek officiating. Burial followed in the Memory Gardens of Chester County at Chester County, Tenn. She is survived by a daughter, Meleah Gant of Savannah; a son, Jake Gant of Jackson, Tenn.; brother, Eddie Cupples of Jackson, Tenn.
