Johnny Lee (10-7-11) services 10-10-11

Johnny Lee, 68, of Parsons, Tenn., died Friday, Oct. 7, in Savannah.

He was a retired river boat captain with AEP River Boat Company. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member and deacon at Hopewell Baptist Church in Parsons.

Services were held at Hopewell Baptist Church on Monday, Oct. 10, with Tracey McCormick and Roy Wyatt officiating. Burial followed in Hopewell Cemetery with military rites.

He is survived by his wife, CJ Lee of Parsons; a daughter, Melissa Derryberry of Parsons; a son, Shanon Kelley of Beech Bluff; two sisters, Frankie Langford of Camden and Shelby Hosford of Murray, Ky.; three brothers, Jerry, Billy and George Lee, all of Parsons; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Ted and Robert "Bud" Lee; sisters, Mickie Fritz, Dorothy Griggs, Diane Baughn, Alice Mays and Enda Lee; and two grandchildren.
