W.B. Doyle (9-24-11) services 9-27-11

W.B. Doyle, 83, of Savannah, died Saturday, Sept. 24.

He was born in Wayne County, the son of the late Ben and Minnie Mae Carroll Doyle. He was united in marriage to Carrie B. Smith, who survives.

Mr. Doyle was self-employed as a carpenter.

Services were held on Tuesday, Sept. 27, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Wayne Bittle officiating. Burial followed in the Old Union Cemetery at Hardin County, Tenn.

He is survived by his wife Carrie B. Smith Doyle of Savannah; eight daughters, Madgie Lee of Savannah, Patsy Myers of Olive Hill, Cathy Torrez of Adamsville, Becky Lee of Savannah, Annette Finley of Selmer, Brenda Parrott of Pigeon Forge, Tenn., Sherry Hopper of Savannah, Terrie Parrott of Parsons; three sons, Jackie of Adamsville, Elvis and Lloyd Doyle, both of Savannah, TN; 33 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren, 15 great-great-grandchildren; five brothers, Bentley of Savannah, Benny B. of Medon, Tenn., J.B. of Parsons, Tenn., Tony Doyle, and Lee J. Ashlee of Chattanooga; a sister, Edna Louise Doyle of Parsons, Tenn.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Eldon and Johnny Doyle; three grandchildren; three brothers, Johnny, Earl and JD Doyle; three sisters, Maddgie Doyle, Cynthia Doyle, Lena Harville.
