Gladys Winborn Gladys Christian Winborn, 81, of Savannah, died Friday, Sept. 16, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Robert L. and Mary Doyle Christian. Ms. Winborn was a cashier for Citizens Bank for 30 years. She also worked for Angelica and Hunter Smith and Tallent Furniture company. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Services were held on Tuesday, Sept. 20, at First Baptist Church in Savannah with Michael Roach officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery at Savannah. She is survived by four sons, Bob, Blake and Barry Winborn, all of Savannah, and Bruce Winborn of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Frances Davis and Mary Katherine (Kackie) Cole, both of Savannah.
