Mollie Pilkinton (9-9-11) services 9-11-11

Mollie Pilkinton, 83, of Savannah, died Friday, Sept. 9, in Savannah.

She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Andrew and Annis Hunt Talley. She was united in marriage to Richard David Pilkinton, who preceded his wife in death.

Mrs. Pilkinton was a business owner. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church, where she was the last charter member of the church.

Services were held on Sunday, Sept. 11, at Southside Baptist Church in Savannah with Benny Taylor officiating. Burial followed in the Graham Cemetery at Savannah.

She is survived by three daughters, Deborah Ann Pilkinton Casteel, Carolyn Jane Pilkinton Pinkstaff and Tracyene Pilkinton Oakley, all of Savannah; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Judy Pilkinton Devore; and two grandchildren.
