Billie Woodruff Billie Don Woodruff, 62, of Saltillo, died Friday, Sept. 9. He was born in Madison Parrish, La., the son of the late T.R. and Fronia Grave Prince Woodruff. Mr. Woodruff was a sawmill machine operator and a member of the Saltillo Church of Christ. He had served in the US Army from 1967-1970. Services were held on Monday, Sept. 12, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Milton Woodruff officiating. Burial followed in the Milledgeville Cemetery. He is survived by a son, Michael Scott Woodruff of Saltillo; three grandchildren; three sisters, Alma Hardin of Red Bay, Ala., Syble Splliane of Newbern, N.C. and Jean High of High Point, N.C.; a brother, Milton Woodruff of Saraland, Ala. He was also preceded in death by six brothers, Bobby Joe, Reffus, Abe, Ted, George and Robert Woodruff.
