Brandon "Brubber" Casteel (9-1-11) services 9-5-11

Brandon "Brubber" Casteel was born in Jackson, Tenn., on Oct. 9, 1978, the son of Ronnie Dale and Deborah Ann Pilkinton Casteel.

On Nov. 6, 2007, he was united in marriage to Tera Cummings, who survives.

Brandon was a self-employed carpenter.

He departed this life on Thursday, Sept. 1, at the age of 32 years, 10 months and 23 days.

In addition to his wife, Tera of Savannah, he is survived by two daughters, Marcie Tatum Casteel and Talyn Skye Casteel, both of Savannah; his parents, Ronnie D. (Frog) and Deborah A. Casteel, of Savannah; one sister, Marisa Casteel Bishop of Savannah; and his grandmother, Mollie Pilkinton of Savannah.

Brandon was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Harold Casteel, Mary Sally Hulen Casteel and Richard David Pilkinton.

Services were held on Monday, Sept. 5, at 11 a.m., at Sharon Baptist Church in Savannah with Jeff LaBorg, Benny Taylor officiating. Burial followed in the Campground Cemetery at Savannah.
