Johnny “Bugs” Boston

Johnny Glen “Bugs” Boston was born in Jackson, Tenn., on Dec. 23, 1974, the son of Judy Ann Gray and the late Ernest Hugh Boston.

On July 24, 2004, he was united in marriage to Natasha Bromley, who survives.

Mr. Boston was a mate for Artco/ADM and also had worked for Clayton Mobile Homes. He was a member of Childers Hill Pentecostal Church. Mr. Boston enjoyed hunting, boating, being outdoors, grilling and spending time with his family. He was “A man with a big heart.”

He departed this life on Saturday, Aug. 13, at the age of 36 years, 7 months and 21 days.

In addition to his wife, Natasha of Counce, he is survived by two daughters, Laina Faith Boston of Counce and Emma Sowell of Savannah; one son, John Levi Boston of Counce; his mother, Judy Ann Gray of Savannah, his stepfather, Jerry Gray of Savannah; grandmother, Betty Jo Moore of Counce; one brother, Dewayne Boston of Savannah, one sister, Julia Gray of Savannah; one stepbrother, Stevie Gray of Savannah.

In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by one sister, Julie Ann Boston and his grandfather, W.S. Gammill.

Services will be held on Friday, Aug. 19, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Pat Terry, Ben Henson officiating. Burial will follow in the Memory Gardens at Savannah.
