Betty Sue Harrison (8-13-11) services 8-17-11

Betty Sue Harrison, 81, of Savannah, died Saturday, Aug. 13.

She was born in Milledgeville, the daughter of the late L.R. and Mildred Finley Scott. She was united in marriage to Harold D. Harrison , who survives.

Mrs. Harrison retired from Brown Shoe Company where she had worked as a supervisor. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Savannah.

Services were held on Wednesday, Aug. 17, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Michael Roach officiating. Burial followed in the Sunny Hill Cemetery at Hardin County.

In addition to her husband Harold, she is survived by a daughter, Kathy Cheatham of Franklin, Tenn.; a son, Steve Bingham of Bogart, Ga.; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Imogene Stacks; two brothers, Harold and Carl Scott.
