Ann Poole Ann Elizabeth Poole, 83, of Savannah, died Saturday, Aug. 13. She was born in Savannah, the daughter of Kendrick Broyles and Ruth Jones Barlow. She was united in marriage to Vernon Ancil Poole, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Poole was a secretary for Welch Insurance Agency for 30 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Savannah and a member of the choir. Services were held on Tuesday, Aug. 16, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Henry Williams, Kirk Carroll, Ron Brown officiating. Burial followed in the Savannah Cemetery at Savannah. She is survived by a daughter, Linda Poole Austin of Collierville, Tenn.; a son, Michael Bruce Poole of Savannah; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; a brother, Col. Kendrick Barlow Jr. of Columbus, Ga. She was preceded in death by a great-grandson.
