Terry Newman Terry Newman, 62, of Savannah, died Thursday, July 21. He was born in Hardin County, the son of the late William Richard and Pearly Jewel Hardin Newman. Mr. Newman was a truck driver. A graveside service was held on Friday, July 29, at the Crump Cemetery in Crump, with Melissa Roland, Donnie Bill Newman officiating. Mr. Newman is survived by two sons, Mickey and Dickie Newman both of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; three sisters, Shirley Hazel, Ann Humphrey and Gwendia Newman, all of Savannah; a brother, Donnie Bill Newman of Savannah. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Ruby D. Gilmore, Katie W. Parrott and Jean Stewart; three brothers, J.C., R.V. and Bobby Newman.
