Dorothy Jackson Dorothy Ann Jackson, 86, of Adamsville, died Wednesday, Aug. 3. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, the daughter of the late Joseph and Maria Rapoza Figueredo. She was united in marriage to Melvin Jackson, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Jackson was a retired nurse. She once lived in North Hollywood, Calif., until retirement and after her husband’s passing then she moved to Tennessee with her daughter. No services will be held. She is survived by one daughter, Betty Barrett of Adamsville; three sons, Bob Richards of Rainelle, W.Va., James Richards of Adamsville and Malcolm Richards of Acworth, Ga.; 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; one brother, Walter Figueredo of Honolulu, Hawaii. She was also preceded in death by one son, Thomas L. Richards; one grandchild, two sisters, Delores Lofton and Esther Figueredo; and two brothers, Larry and Donald Figueredo.
