Saundra Hughes (7-17-11) services 7-20-11

Saundra Hughes, 58, of Counce, died Sunday, July 17, at the Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth.

She was daughter to the late Harve and Carrie Campbell Fondren. She was united in marriage to Larry Hughes, who survives.

Mrs. Hughes worked for the Hardin County Health Department in Savannah for 27 years.

Services were held Wednesday, July 20, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Paul Childers and Phillip Caples officiating. Burial was in the Pisgah United Methodist Church Cemetery in Shiloh.

In addition to her husband, Larry Hughes of Counce, she is survived by one daughter, Angie Gardner of Corinth; two brothers, Bob Fondren Savannah, and Travis Fondren of Orlando, Fla.; two grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Stanley Fondren; and one sister, Joyce Wright.
