Martha Linam (6-21-11) services 6-23-11

Martha Linam, 96, of Savannah, died Tuesday, June 21.

She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late William Edgar and Mary Ellen Jerrolds Kelly. She was united in marriage to Lawrence Wayne Linam, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Linam was a member of Barnhill United Methodist Church and had lived in Walkertown all her life.

Services were held on Thursday, June 23, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Becky Wilkes, Charles Linam officiating. Burial followed in the Neill Cemetery at Savannah.

She is survived by five sons, Eddie Wasson, Billy Don, Charles Lynn, James Noel and David Van Linam, all of Savannah; 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; a sister, Ruby McCasland of Savannah.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Larry Wayne Linam; four brothers, Jack, Tom , Morris and W.E. Kelly; three sisters, Margaret Riddell, Dorothy Couch and Marie Vandiver.
