Tony Eugene Sweat, 51, of Clifton, died Saturday, May 14.
He was born in Chicago, Ill., the son of Peggy Marie Gray Sweat and the late W.E. Sweat. He was united in marriage to Tracye Cannon, who survives.
Tony was employed as a security guard for Aqua Yacht Harbor in Iuka, Miss., and also continued the family business as an antique dealer and refinisher.
Services were held on Tuesday, May 17, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Adamsville with Chuck Castles officiating. Burial followed in the Adamsville Cemetery.
In addition to his wife Tracye Sweat of Clifton, he is survived by his mother, Peggy Marie Sweat Hamm and step-father Jerry Hamm of Adamsville; a daughter, Tonya Lowery of Savannah; step-daughters, Carrie Baskin and Alana Allread, both of Savannah; two sons, Shawn Sweat of Burnt Church and Gabriel Sweat of Savannah; five grandchildren; a sister, Vickie Franks of Bruton Branch; a step-brother, Keith Hamm of Corinth, Miss.; maternal grandmother, Mildred Fletcher of Adamsville.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Bill and Vela Sweat, and maternal grandfather Jack Gray.
