Elsie Lawhead Elsie Eleanor Lawhead, 93, of Savannah, died Saturday, May 14, in Savannah. She was born in Abington, Penn., the daughter of the late James T. and Gertrude Mullin Mudd. She was united in marriage to Bernard Milton Lawhead, who preceded his wife in death. Mrs. Lawhead was a retired secretary for Boeing. No services will be held. Burial of cremated remains will be at Brevard Memorial Gardens in Cocoa, Fla. Mrs. Lawhead is survived by one son, Robert Raymond Lawhead of Cocoa, Fla.; and one daughter, Janet Mae Kelly of Savannah; six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Nancy Taylor; and two brothers, Thomas and James Mudd.
