Anthony Higgins, 40, of Henderson, Tenn., formerly of Savannah, died Sunday, April 24.
He was born in McNairy County, the son of David Russell of Memphis and Shirley Marie Bridgeman Murrell of Selmer.
He grew up in West Memphis, Ark. He moved to Savannah, and was married to Elizabeth White. He was employed at United Stainless in Selmer as an electrician in maintenance. He was a member of The Springs in South Jackson, a member of the NRA, and many other national associations. He had recently became a licensed firearms dealer and a licensed antique gun dealer.
Services were held on Wednesday, April 27, at Shackelford Funeral Directors-Johnson Chapel in Henderson, Tenn. Burial was in the Memory Gardens of Hardin County at Savannah.
He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Ann White Higgins of Henderson, Tenn.; two daughters, Erin Higgins, Sarah Higgins; a son, Zack Higgins; and great-grandmother, Lorene Higgins Ray of Savannah.
