Vickie Shelby (4-7-11) services 4-10-11

Vickie Jeanette Shelby, 51, of Adamsville, died Thursday, April 7.

She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of Jimmy Hollis Sr. and Linda Yvonne Scott Shelby.

Ms. Shelby was a member of the Temple Baptist Church. She had worked for Selmer Apparel.

Services were held on Sunday, April 10, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Thurman Shutt officiating. Burial was in the Goshen Cemetery at Hardin County.

In addition to her parents, Jimmy and Linda Shelby, she is survived by four sons, James Scott Pogue Jr. of Savannah, Jeremy Lane Pogue of Arlington, Texas, Daniel Coy Parson of Adamsville and Ryan Dale Parson of Selmer; four grandchildren; two brothers, Jimmy Hollis Shelby Jr. of Morris Chapel and Tracy Lee Shelby of Adamsville; a sister, Lorinda Shelby Phillips of Counce.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Scott Pogue Sr.; second husband, Danny Parson; a sister, Kimberly Dawn Shelby; grandparents, Brownloe and Dorthy Shelby, Hayes and Ruby Scott.
