Dennis Wayne Cossey, 49, of Savannah, died Sunday, April 3, in Missouri.
He was born in Memphis, the son of the late Waymon Elson and Lillie Joyce Brown Cossey.
Mr. Cossey worked for Global Painting and Construction. He also had worked on a towboat and worked as a mechanic.
Services were held on Friday, April 8, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Dean Haggard, Larry Mancil officiating. Burial was in the White’s Creek Cemetery at Hardin County.
He is survived by two sons, Jeremy Wayne and Wesley Alan Cossey, both of Savannah; and one daughter, Tamara Cheyenne Cossey of Sardis; two grandchildren; two brothers, Douglas Wade Cossey of Amarillo, Texas and Frankie Joe Archer of Florida; two sisters, Donna Sue Cossey of Phoenix, Ariz. and Lisa Cossey Mancil of Ball, La.
