Mary Ruth Hamm
Mary Ruth Hamm, 82, of Adamsville, died Thursday, March 31.
She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late O.H. and Daisy Plunk Lott. She was united in marriage to James A. Hamm, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Hamm had worked in the finishing department at Harwood Manufacturing for three years and in the folding department at Garan Manufacturing for 25 years.
Services were held on Sunday, April 3, at Shackelford Chapel in Adamsville with Greg Eaton, Marcus Morrow officiating. Burial was in the Ledbetter Cemetery at Hardin County.
She survived by a daughter, Patsy Hamm West of Adamsville; a son, Steve Hamm of Adamsville; two sisters, Faye Grooms of Memphis and Wilma Nell Hughes of Adamsville; one brother, Junior Lott of Crump; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Effie Mae Clenney; three brothers, Marshal, Raymond D. and Hugh Ray Lott; and a granddaughter.
