J.R. Reeves John "J.R." Reeves, 52, of Clifton, died Thursday, March 3. He was born in New Roads, La., the son of the Melvin Wayne and Betty Joyce Davidson Reeves. Mr. Reeves was self-employed. Memorial services were held on Saturday, March 12, at Mt. View Church of Christ in Savannah. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a son, John N. Reeves Jr. of Melville, La.; two daughters, Lauren Timberly Reeves of Nashville and Valerie DiBenedetto of Baton Rouge, La.; a grandchild; a sister, Debra A. Baham of Harpersville, Ala.; a brother, Mikel Wayne Reeves of Midway, Miss. He was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Ray Reeves.
