Wilma Thomas

Wilma Neill Thomas, 87, of Savannah, died Monday, Feb. 14, in Selmer.

She was born in Savannah, the daughter of the late Cecil and Edna Young Neill. She was united in marriage to Troy E. Thomas, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Thomas was a homemaker. She was a member of the Church of Christ. During World War II, she worked at the Cotton Mill in Decatur, Ala.

Services were held on Sunday, Feb. 20, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Selmer with Jetta Forsythe officiating. Burial followed in the Neill Cemetery at Savannah.

She is survived by a daughter, Linda Arlene Thomas Ingle of Ramer, Tenn.; two sons, James Troy Thomas of Selmer and Dwight Douglas Thomas of Ramer; a brother, O.C Neill of Moulton, Ala.; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by sister, Mary Elizabeth Fouse; brother, Arnold Neill; two stepsisters, Robbie Reaves and Carolyn Bratton.
