Rhoda Phillips (2-17-11) services 2-19-11

Rhoda G. Phillips, 85, of Savannah, died Thursday, Feb. 17.

She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Benjamin Gilbert and Ina Mae Singleton Green. She was united in marriage to Charles Thomas "Shorty" Phillips, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Phillips had worked for General Electric for several years. She was a member of the Savannah Church of Christ.

Services were held on Saturday, Feb. 19, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Howard Rogers officiating. Burial was in the Lebanon Cemetery at Saltillo.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Charles Eric Phillips.
