Mary Lou Smith (2-20-11) services 2-23-11

Mary Lou Smith, 64, of Savannah, died Sunday, Feb. 20, at the Hardin Medical Center.

She was born in Selmer, the daughter of the late Paul and Dulcie Swiney Davis. She was united in marriage to Steve Smith, who survives.

Mrs. Smith was a retired Elementary teacher for the Hardin County Schools System. She was a member of East End United Methodist Church.

Services were held on Wednesday, Feb. 23, at First United Methodist Church in Savannah with Mary Foote, Dr. Roger Hopson, David Baker, Robert Sadler officiating. Burial was in the Memory Gardens at Savannah.

In addition to her husband, Steve of Savannah, she is survived by one son, Justin McCoy Smith of Smyrna, Tenn.; three brothers, Paul C. Jr., Billy Frank and Brodie E. Davis, all of Savannah.
