Mamie McClain Mamie Ann McClain, 51, of Savannah, died Wednesday, Feb. 2, in Savannah. She was born in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of the late S.P. Joe and Mamie Ozella White Qualls. Ms. McClain was a member of Lighthouse Pentecostal Church. Services were held on Friday, Feb. 4, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Clayton Thomas officiating. Burial was in the Graham Cemetery at Hardin County. She is survived by two daughters, Mamie Morrison and Margaret White, both of Savannah; one son, Steven Frasher Jr. of Plant City, Fla.; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Roger J. Qualls of Gainsville, Fla. and James W. Qualls of Savannah; two sisters, Betty L. Qualls and Margaret Teeftaller, both of Savannah. She was also preceded in death by one son, John Joe Frasher; and one brother, Benjamin C. Qualls.
