LeRoy Cole Sr. (2-6-11) services 2-9-11

LeRoy W. Cole Sr., 69, of Adamsville, died Sunday, Feb. 6, in Selmer.

He was born in Eaton Rapids, Mich., the son of the late Edgar George and Francis May Yeager Cole. He was united in marriage to Barbara L. Weirich, who survives.

Mr. Cole was a general laborer for Local 1161 in Jackson, Tenn. He was a member of the Second Baptist Church of Savannah.

Services were held on Wednesday, Feb. 9, at Second Baptist Church in Savannah with Ed Alexander officiating. Burial was in the Mud Creek Cemetery at Adamsville.

In addition to his wife, Barbara L. Cole of Adamsville, he is survived by four daughters, Vickie Cole of Lansing, Mich., Kathy Thrasher of Orland, Ind., Cherie Hurley of Marcellus, Mich., Annette Johnson of Sturgis, Mich.; three sons: LeRoy W. Cole Jr. of Henderson, Tenn., Kevin E. Cole of Satellite Beach, Fla., Jason W. Cole of Syracuse, Ind.; 26 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marlene Stavros of Potterville, Mich. and Pauline Bibler of Springport, Mich.
