J.D. Dunagan J.D. Dunagan, 78, of Counce, died Sunday, Feb. 6. He was born in Trenton, Tenn., the son of the late Arthur Elmer and Lila Elizabeth Blackwell Dunagan. Mr. Dunagan retired as a construction sheet metal worker. He was an Army Veteran, he served during the Korean War. He was a former member of the VFW and American Legion. Services were held on Wednesday, Feb. 9, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Keith Driskell officiating. Burial was in the White Sulphur Cemetery at Pickwick Dam. He is survived by a son, Richard "Rick" Dunagan of Counce. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Dean Darnell Dunagan; and six sisters.
