Donna Franks (2-5-11) services 2-8-11

Donna Jean Franks, 64, of Savannah, died Saturday, Feb. 5.

She was born in Caruthersville, Mo., the daughter of J. Melvin and Geneva Murleen Porter Hosea. She was united in marriage to Jimmie Franks, who survives.

Mrs. Franks had worked for Angelica Corporation in Savannah and B&B Construction in Verona, Miss. She was a member of the Eureka United Methodist Church.

Services were held on Tuesday, Feb. 8, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Glen Jones, Ron Jones officiating. Burial was in the Memory Gardens at Savannah.

In addition to her husband, Jimmie, she is survived by a daughter, Kristy Bennett of Booneville, Miss.; a son, Keith Miller of Corinth, Miss.; her parents, J. Melvin and Geneva Hosea; six grandchildren; two sisters, Deretha Wilbanks and Bonnie Blanton, both of Savannah; two brothers, Juan and Ricky Hosea, both of Savannah.
