Jackie Brooks

Jackie Brooks, 56, of Savannah, died Thursday, Dec. 30, in Nashville.

He was born in Hardin County, the son of the late Sam and Velma Rogers Brooks.

Mr. Brooks was an airplane technician for Jackson-Madison County Airport and he also had worked for McNairy County Airport. He attended First United Methodist Church.

Services were held on Sunday, Jan. 2, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Billy Allegood officiating. Burial was in the Milledgeville Cemetery.

He is survived by one brother, James Bishop of Clarksville, Tenn.

He was also preceded in death by one brother, Charles Bishop.
