Dr. Robert Adams

Dr. Robert Joseph Adams, 79, of Savannah, died Thursday, Dec. 30, in Savannah.

He was born in Memphis, the son of the late Robert Neal and Julia Maybelle Benton Adams.

Dr. Adams was a dentist for the United States Navy. After his Navy retirement he went into private practice as an orthodontist. He also worked for Johnson and Johnson.

A graveside service was held on Monday, Jan. 3, at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Memphis with Steve Dickman officiating.

He is survived by one son, Andrew Robert Adams.
