Janice Fay Davis

Janice Fay Hardin Davis was born in Savannah, on March 18, 1950, the daughter of Mary Frances McCasland Hardin and the late Billy Gipson "Gip" Hardin.

Ms. Davis worked for Brown Shoe Company and also worked for Tri County Convalescent Home. She attended River Heights United Methodist Church.

Ms. Davis departed this life on Thursday, Nov. 25, in Savannah, at the age of 60 years, 8 months and 7 days.

She is survived by one daughter, Jana Lynch of Savannah; two sons, Ronnie Keith Davis and Jeremy Glenn Davis, both of Savannah; five grandchildren, Joleann Faye Davis, Roni Caitlyn Davis, Stephen Davis, Nicholas Gammill and Darbie Lynch; her mother, Mary Frances Hardin of Savannah; two sisters, Phyllis Bullard and Regina Parker, both of Savannah; and one brother, Jimmy Hardin of Savannah.

In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Sammy Truman Hardin.

Services were held on Monday, Nov. 29, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Robert House officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery at Hardin County, Tenn.
