Doris Carroll Doris Dean Daniels Carroll, 76, of Savannah, died Saturday, Oct. 30, at Savannah Health Care Center in Savannah. She was born in Wayne County, the daughter of the late John Laurel and Martha Mirl Scott Daniels. Ms. Carroll retired after 35 years from the cutting department for Garran Manufacturing. She attended Hopewell Baptist Church and Southside Baptist Church. Services were held on Monday, Nov. 1, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Benny Taylor officiating. Burial was in the McGlamery Cemetery at Collinwood. She is survived by three grandchildren, one great-grandchild; three sisters, Bonnie Sherrill, Elois Ward and Vernal Paulk, all of Savannah; one brother, Roy Daniels of Savannah; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Theresa Gail Carroll; two sons, Donald and Ronald Carroll; one grandson; one sister, Cleo Beckham; and four brothers, J.L., Jobie, Eulas and Leo Daniels.
