Mildred Snider Mildren Snider, 82, of Adamsville, died Sunday, Oct. 24. She was born in McNairy County, the daughter of the late Harrison K. and Myrtle Jane Davis Eliff. She was united in marriage to J.T. Snider, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Snider had worked for Garan Manufacturing and Brown Shoe Company before retiring. She was a member of Old Union Church. Services were held on Tuesday, Oct. 26, at Old Union Church in Adamsville with Doyle Johnson, Rex Snider officiating. Burial was in the Old Union Cemetery at Adamsville. She is survived by a son, Timothy R. Snider of Adamsville; one grandson; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ruth Williams of Selmer. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Elbert, Jessie, and Lenord Eliff; and two sisters, Era Robertson and Geraldine Barringer.
