Mable Rich (10-24-10) services 10-28-10

Mable Earlene Rich, 78, of Savannah, died Sunday, Oct. 24, at the Hardin Medical Center in Savannah.

She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Grady and Rosa Godwin Reynolds. She was united in marriage to James Earl Rich, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Rich was an assembly line worker for 40 years for Brown Shoe Company. She was a member of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church for 60 years.

Services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 28, at 2 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Artie Rivers officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Hermon Cemetery at Hardin County.

Mrs. Rich is survived by two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Young of Savannah and Rachel Young of Kansas City, Mo.; one brother, Hubert Paul Reynolds of Savannah.

Mrs. Rich was also preceded in death by one son, Jerry Wayne Rich; one sister, Jo Ann Sutton; and two brothers, J. R. and Roy Reynolds.
